Wax seal 人工智障研究所 INSTITUTE OF ARTIFICIAL ABSURDITY
COLLECTION REGISTRY · VOL. 01 NOW OPEN

An institute for absurd AI artifacts, human-machine debris, and recyclable ideas.

Curating failed prototypes, strange objects, and ideas worth salvaging. Every artifact is reviewed, numbered, and labeled.

ROOM 03 Exhibits Absurd things that actually exist.

Every exhibit sits inside the institute's frame: a specimen label above, the object displayed, a curator's note below.

IAA-EX-001 / FICTIONAL PRODUCT SPECIMEN / Collected during the 2026 World Cup / Status: never ships
AI OFFSIDE CORRECTION SYSTEM
OFFSIDEFENCE
Don't just detect offside. Correct it.
CURATOR'S NOTE

Built on a real open-source soccer vision pipeline, with a 58-second launch film and a crowdfunding page. The engineering is real; the product is not. The institute's test: can sufficient rigor make an expert hesitate?

IAA-EX-002 / ABSURD ARTIFACT SPECIMEN / Built 48 hours after a single post / Status: live / Creator: @nopinduoduo · Collected by IAA
DEITY RANKING FOR DEVELOPER TOOLS
赛博活佛 / Cyber Buddha
Cloudflare, GitHub, Vercel. Worshipped as living buddhas. Offer incense to raise merit.
CURATOR'S NOTE

Someone posted "can someone build this?" and two days later, someone did. A leaderboard that treats free dev tools as deities you can offer incense to. Absurd form, real feeling: developers genuinely owe these tools a debt. The merit value is collective reputation voting in monastery robes.

IAA-EX-003 / COMMUNITY OPERATIONS INSTRUMENT / Public reset signals, collected in real time / Status: live / Source: CodexRadar · Collected by IAA
A PUBLIC-SIGNAL WINDOW FOR CODEX USERS
Codex Reset Radar / 速蹬窗口
It turns “we will reset soon” into a short window for spending the quota you already have.
CURATOR'S NOTE

A public post from a product lead is usually swallowed by the timeline. CodexRadar gives it an opening and a closing state: the window opens when a reset is announced, then closes when completion is confirmed. Remaining quota becomes a task with a deadline. Our earlier observation asks how resets shape platform value, capacity, and work allocation. This specimen records the user-side answer: build a folk instrument that misses fewer windows.

ROOM 04 Institute A curatorial space, not a product company.

What this is

A bilingual archive that observes, curates, and comments on AI-era artifacts: fake products, failed prototypes, absurd launches, and the tools people actually build with AI.

What's on the shelf

Three exhibits, a growing post stream, and an open-source skill for auditing meeting judgment.

What it's not

Not a research institution, not a media outlet, not a shop. It's a shelf where AI-era things worth a second look get put on display.
